![]() Yes, customizing the APub beta's Tools Panel layout persists on relaunch. It is just too annoying to try to work around the bugs. So all things considered, I'm not going to waste any more time on these betas. ![]() Since the document window won't retain its previous dimensions or position, it seems kind of pointless to try. i have not bothered to try to redo that to match the previous ones. I also just noticed that the main Toolbar in all 3 of these betas has a very different arrangement & spacing of its items compared to the custom versions I set op in the previous betas. So instead of the 2 columns of a dozen or so tools in each column with 4 or 5 separators to create to me logical tool groupings, I got a very short two column list. That did not carry over to this new APub beta. ![]() It did retain the two-column layout but all but one of my separators & groupings from the previous beta were gone, as well as most of those other tools. For example, I always use separate individual tool buttons for Art Text & Frame Text & put separators above & below that pair. FWIW, I saw this in a previous Beta with the Cat tool but I'm not seeing it in this one, for me my tool palette is as previously set.įor me, in these AP & AD betas the Tools Panel retained the previous beta's layout, so it was only in this APub beta in which on first launch I got the Cat Tool but not the others like the Place Tool, etc. ![]()
